About me
My name is Cache Davis. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
I am also Certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and AED.
I also compete in the National Physique Committee (NPC) as a Classic Physique Competitor and in Bodybuilding.
I grew up here in Utah. For the large majority of my life up until mid-High School, I was severely obese.
I was about 300lbs at 5’8’’, and had very little care for my personal health.
Day to day activities consisted of me sitting at home playing video games and eating junk food- all to distract myself from the more internalized issues at hand.
Sadly, my story is like many others in the world. One day I decided to make a change to my health, realizing through pressure of social media and my internalized fear, I wouldn’t last very long living how I did.
For the past 7 years I devoted my life to becoming better; mentally and physically. I started Keto, lost 40lbs, but eventually regained it all back.
I tried many diets, all of which could never work for me.
but that didn’t stop me. I still tried, even pessimistically, intrinsically knowing, I couldn’t lose the weight.
But every day was a fresh start. I threw away the day behind me, and only lived in the present. Focusing on what I can control, and not what I could’ve. I eventually started tracking macros after I heard about it, and found it tedious as it was just another “diet”. I counted macros, and did research into it, where I picked up on counting calories also. I decided to implement it, and to no avail the first couple of weeks, I was about ready to give up. I reflected, telling myself “why not try? You’ve done everything else at this point”. So I did, and saw change.
I fell in love with the process, after I allowed it, and myself to take its course.
I tried every fad, every challenge, every “meal hack”, and compiled all of this research ands knowledge to what I know today, continuously learning, and learning new things every day. With this I studied sedulously in Kinesiology, Human Biology, and dietetics, and fell in love with learning about the human body after I made the choice to flip.
I know know over 120 different exercises and variations, and 80 different recipes for the best tricks, hacks, and swaps.
From pizza to apple pie, and Boston crème donuts to triple decker cheeseburgers, I know to make them, and lose weight while having all 4 in the same day.
